Regional number

See it - Report it

All the local authorities across the region are working to keep the region clean and clear of unsightly fly posting, fly tipping, graffiti, litter and dog fouling in designated areas.

Reporting made easy

Most incidents of fly tipping etc. should now be reported to your local authority. If it is a very serious offence the local authority officers will report it up to the Environment Agency. This means that the Environment Agency freephone number is somewhat redundant. Telephone the Agency number will only get you passed through approximately 3 offices before being handed to your local authority.

If you want to report an incident you don't have to remember the local authority departmental telephone number, their switchboard number or any other number for that matter.

The one telephone number you need anywhere in Lancashire or North Merseyside is
08701 999 455.

Telephone Reporting Give as much detail as you can to the operator who will pass your reported incident to the relevant authority. The more detail you can give the more chance there is of prosecuting the culprits. With environmentally trained Magistrates sitting when the cases come to court rigorous enforcement will ensue.

Online form If you want to report an incident NOW click on the Council name alongside this article and use the online form. This will be emailed directly to the Council Department that deals with this issue.
And thank you for being so conscientious.
